A PRACTICAL PUBLISHER WORKFLOW

From a PUB file to the next step.

Use the free preview to check whether the document opens as expected, then choose the output that fits how you plan to use it.

01

Choose one PUB file

Upload a Publisher file up to 20 MB. Password-protected or damaged files are not supported.

02

Preview before deciding

Inspect the first three watermarked pages. If a document is longer, the viewer explains the optional full-preview charge before it starts.

03

Choose an output if needed

Use PDF for sharing or printing, or ODG when you want to continue editing in LibreOffice Draw.

PDF

For sharing and printing

PDF is a practical choice when recipients need to review or print the pages. Always inspect the converted layout before sending it out.

ODG

For further editing

ODG can be opened in LibreOffice Draw for follow-up edits. Conversion is not a native Publisher edit and may change fonts, objects, or spacing.

BEFORE YOU CONVERT

What to expect from a Publisher conversion

The output is generated by importing the PUB document into LibreOffice. Objects, typography, line breaks, and page layout may differ from Microsoft Publisher, so inspect the result before sharing or printing.

Which Publisher files can I use?

Upload one .pub file up to 20 MB. Password-protected, damaged, or unusually complex files may fail or render differently.

Can I download the preview as a PDF?

The first three pages are free watermarked images. For a longer file, a signed-in user can confirm a one-credit task to view all pages online as watermarked images; lifetime access currently covers it. The viewer does not provide a downloadable PDF. Use the PDF or ODG export tools for a file, and review the result because layout may change.

Are uploaded files kept?

Files are processed in an isolated temporary workspace and automatically removed after the retention period. Do not upload documents you are not authorized to process.
